Mounted Constable, Chance, Harry

Mounted Constable Harry Chance joined the South Australian police force on the 1st March 1884 and worked in the Northern Territory from April 1880 until 1898. Chance transferred from Alice Springs to Moonta when the Gillen family relocated there in 1898. In 1901 he worked on the Spencer and Gillen Expedition as a driver, cook and handyman.
