The difficulties of scientists both in Australia and the U. K. “ How gross and absurd are the interests and preoccupations of the Philistine”. E.R.L. says that the Archbishop of Canterbury and Acland have conspired to keep him out of Oxford. “I should not like Oxford very much, but should like a fixed life income of £900 a year”.
