The Pitt Rivers Museum (Oxford) has a collection of Spencer's papers as well 150 objects collected during the 1901 expedition. The Spencer papers include correspondence, notebooks, loose notes and drawings. Some of this correspondence has been published in Mulvaney, D.J., Petch, A., & Morphy, H.
