Physical Description
Ceremony performed by Arrernte, Alice Springs. Starts by dry creek, then on one central squatting figure decorated with down, with four or five men standing around. A number of men then come into shot, one with decorated wooden dish or shield. They squat around central figure. Decorated dish shown around. Smaller dish then shown around. Gillen writes in Camp Jottings 'Obtained kine record and 14 photographs including some pictures of Quabara Unchalka of Atnurinya [Adnuringa] which followed closely upon [...] Quabara Udnirringita of Unthurqua i.e. the sacred ceremony of the Udnirringita totem of a place called Unthurqua'
