"I have just sent the Wanninga safely packed up and have arranged for Wells to take it down on the mail [...] This particular Wanninga belongs to the Illuta (pig-faced burrowing rat) of Lympilla on the Fike and represents an old man Illuta and his piccaninny (Gillen to Spencer, Sept 1897, p.182 MDS)
