Noted by Paddy Byrne in his correspondence with Spencer as a place where Arrernte women would collect specimens for Spencer’s scientific work. The locality northeast of Charlotte Waters and was recorded by Paddy Byrne with the Arrernte names of 'Oodnatchurra'. Byrne noted that this is the place where women would go to in order to obtain zoological specimens for Byrne and Spencer in the 1890s.
