Isoconal Lines
Physical Description
Map. Hand-drawn, or traced of Australia on translucent paper. The map is headed 'Isoconal Lines' and features lines of latitude and longitude in red, other lines in blue, and dotted lines with accompanying ink inscriptions. Inscription in the right margin. Maker's name and date in ink, bottom left of the map. The sheet is creased from folds, and top and bottom edges are roughly cut/torn (possibly from a roll of paper).
Primary Comments
A dotted line northwest of Darwin is inscribed 'Submarine cable Adelaide to London'. The line run south through central Australia and branches in two at Port Augusta, before heading west and south before branching again.
