Physical Description
8iii Eagle Hawk (?) (Cont..?) (AW: Ceremony of Eagle Hawk Totem, Aranda, probably Alice Springs). Two dancers doing squatting dance similar to 8i above. Same body decoration. One dancer has headress very similar to8 i, but no black feathers in rods sticking out of front of headress. Man comes in and removes headdress, dancers continue dancing, facing each other, periodically appearing to 'kiss', then one goes behind the other in 'copulating' position. They stop, man comes in and releases them. Note: This sequence (8iii) only appears in the 800 ft print of 1901 material held by Museum Victoria
