94 objects. In April 1903 Spencer sent a collection of Central Australian Aboriginal artefacts to CH Read at the British Museum. This material is well documented. These 81 extant objects are similar types of objects to those in the larger MV collection. The BM also holds a smaller collection of 13 objects collected by Gillen. These objects were given to the donor’s father by Gillen. The BM’s collections are searchable via the British Museum’s online database.
